Affiliated companies
The Department of Development Support
- Guiding Provincial and Municipal Cooperative Alliances to organize support and consulting activities for the development of production, business and services carried out by its members.
- Developing, supervising and guiding Provincial and Municipal Cooperative Alliances to organize training schemes and curriculum for staff and officers in the cooperative sector.
- Formulating and guiding Provincial and Municipal Cooperative Alliances to implement socio-economic projects and programs for cooperatives and SMEs.
- Guiding and supporting VCA affiliated companies to promote their business and production; directing and inspecting the implementation of State policies, laws and VCA Regulations.
The Department of Organization and Movement
- Developing cooperatives and cooperative movements; studying, generalizing and popularizing advanced and efficient cooperatives.
- Guiding Provincial and Municipal Cooperative Alliances and its members to abide by VCA Regulations.
- Designing and organizing propaganda to introduce the guidelines of the Vietnamese Government and Communist Party on the development process of the cooperative sector, the development and achivements gained by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance and the cooperative sector.
- Guiding and promoting emulation movements on a large scale; and recommending Vietnam Cooperative Alliance or the Emulation and Reward Committee of the Government to award collectives and individuals for their outstanding achievements in the cooperative movement in Vietnam.
- Formulating and proposing plans to strengthen the organization and to arrange officers for the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance and its affiliates; and implementing personnel policy in accordance with the State regulations of personnel management at all levels.
The Department of Law and Policy
- Formulating strategies, plans and projects to strengthen cooperatives and the cooperative economy.
- Proposing and participating in the formulation, supplement and amendment of laws and policies related to cooperatives, the cooperative economy and SMEs.
- Guiding the implementation of the Cooperative Law and other related legal policies.
The Department of International Relations
- Designing, proposing and guiding programs on enhancement of cooperative relations with international organizations and cooperative associations and SMEs around the world; and making the most of international supports to develop the nation-wide cooperative movements.
- Formulating propaganda to introduce the organization and activities of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance to international organizations and cooperative associations and SMEs in the country and abroad.
- Translating documents in foreign languages to facilitate the operation of the system.
- Taking responsibility for promoting external relations.
The Department of Supervision
- Supervising the implementation of the Resolution of the National Representative Congress and the Resolution of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance.
- Directing and guiding professional supervision in the whole system of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance.
- Inspecting and resolving petitions, complaints and accusations made by individuals and members of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance.
- Protecting legal rights and interest of cooperatives, cooperative alliances and other members.
- Supervising and inspecting financial activities of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance.
