• The Project of Development of Job Services Centers in Vietnam.

• The project of the Center of Commercial Advantage Promotion and E-commerce.

1. The Project of Development of Job Services Centers in Vietnam Executive Agency: The United States Ministry of Labour. Implementation Agency: the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affaires, the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Vietnamese General Federation of Labour, the Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Center of Job Services and Socio-economic Programs (Vietnam Cooperative Alliance). Implementation duration: 36 months Project Objectives: to increase the employment rate in target groups. In the long run will make the following contributions: Shortening the average employment vacancy subject to the project. Increasing the employment rate subject to the projects. Increasing the employment rate using the services provided by the Project centers. Outputs and Indicators to the Success of the projects: Management capacity is formed. Computerising and launching employment information to INTRANET to link the labour markets of the Jobs Services Centers supported by the Project. The capacity of center officers are improved. The strategic management system with the aim of result observation is established in each center. Results related to the capacity improvement in a center are reported and propagated to the other centers.

2. The project of the Center of Commercial Advantage Promotion and E-commerce Implemetation Agency: The Center of Coperative and Non-state Enterprise Development Support.

Project Objectives: - To promote the information exchange and electronic data and developing training and consutancy to cooperatives and non-state cooperatives.

Project activities:
1. Downloading and translating information from the Internet related to UN/CEFACT and AFACT into Vietnamese to promote the exchange of electronic data and E-commerce to popularise the achievements in this field in the world.
2. Creating a Website of VIETPRO to promote information exchange inside and outside Vietnam such as looking for, updating and rotating information.
3. Making the most of domestic or international organisations as well as domestic enterprises to organise training courses, seminars and meetings on comunication technology inside or outside Vietnam and to exchange electronic data and e- commerce in Internet and Intranet.
4. Supporting enterprises, whether state or non-state (export and import enterprises, purchaser and sellers) in e-commerce cooperation.
5. Collaborating with research institutes and universities in e-commerce training. Donor : the United Nations Economics and Social Committee of Asia Pacific.
